Hawaiian Cream Sweet Rolls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Rolls

01 - 1 pack (12 pieces) of King's Hawaiian sweet rolls
02 - 6 tbsp melted salted butter
03 - 2 tbsp brown sugar
04 - 1 tsp ground cinnamon

→ Rich Cream Filling

05 - An 8 oz block of cream cheese, brought to room temperature
06 - 2 tbsp white sugar
07 - 1 whole egg, large size

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven at 375°F and grease up a 9x13 baking pan.
02 - Cut out small tops from rolls and carefully scoop out a bit of the inside, leaving the bottom untouched.
03 - In a small bowl, mix melted butter with cinnamon and brown sugar. Brush this mix inside and over the tops of the rolls.
04 - Beat cream cheese until it’s velvety, then stir in the sugar and egg until it all comes together smoothly.
05 - Scoop the cream cheese filling into each roll. Bake them for around 15 minutes, until they turn golden and the centers look set.

# Notes:

01 - You can toss fresh fruit on top before baking if you'd like.
02 - Best when eaten warm and fresh from the oven.
