Beef Philly Recipe (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 lb fresh ground beef 90% lean
02 - 1 yellow onion chopped up
03 - 1 green bell pepper chopped up
04 - 8 oz sliced provolone
05 - 4 fresh hoagie rolls 7 inches each or a French bread loaf cut in 4 pieces

→ Seasonings

06 - ½ tsp regular salt
07 - ½ tsp garlic powder seasoning
08 - ½ tsp ground black pepper
09 - 2 tbsp of your favorite Worcestershire sauce

# Instructions:

01 - Get your oven nice and hot at 400°F before starting.
02 - Grab a big skillet and put it on medium. Throw in your chopped onion, pepper, ground beef and add the salt, garlic powder and black pepper. Let it cook about 10 minutes, giving it a stir now and then until the veggies get soft and meat browns up.
03 - While your meat mix is cooking, split those hoagie rolls down the middle or if using a baguette cut it in four pieces and split those. Put them on a baking sheet.
04 - When meat is done, pour in that Worcestershire sauce. Put half your provolone on top and turn the heat down low. Wait about 2 minutes till it gets melty then mix it all together.
05 - Grab your tongs and scoop that cheesy meat mixture onto your rolls making sure each one gets a fair share.
06 - Top each sandwich with the rest of your provolone. Pop them in your hot oven for 3 to 5 minutes until that cheese gets all melty and bubbly and the rolls turn golden brown.

# Notes:

01 - We made this quick by using ground beef instead of sliced steak but it tastes just as good
02 - Makes an awesome dinner when you want something filling but don't have loads of time
