Easy Cabbage and Beef Bake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 pound ground beef
02 - 1 medium onion, diced
03 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
04 - 1 small head cabbage, chopped (about 6 cups)

→ Sauce & Seasonings

05 - 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes with juices
06 - 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
07 - 1/2 cup beef broth
08 - 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
09 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
10 - 1 teaspoon dried oregano
11 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
12 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

→ Topping

13 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese

# Instructions:

01 - Heat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Get out a 9x13-inch baking dish and grease it.
02 - Brown your ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain off any extra fat, then add the onion and garlic. Cook until those onions go soft and clear.
03 - Toss in the chopped cabbage and cook it for about 5-7 minutes, stirring now and then, until it starts to soften up.
04 - Add your tomatoes, sauce, broth, and all those seasonings. Let it simmer for 5 minutes so all those flavors can get to know each other.
05 - Pour everything into your baking dish, top with that cheese, and bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Make it low-carb by using less tomato sauce and skipping the diced tomatoes
02 - Add red pepper flakes if you like it spicy
